The main differentiating characters of the genus, cylindroid stylet and rod-shaped sperm, are discussed. N. minor, N. (N.) peshawarensis and N. (N.) curvistylus are synonymized with N. magnidens. Abstract
This paper deals with the genus Neopsilenchus Thorne & Malek, 1968. Type material of N. magnidens, N. minor, N. (Neopsilenchus) peshawarensis and N. (N.) curvistylus besides the Iranian populations of N. magnidens were examined by light microscopy.
