In this paper, according to drinking water protection area delineation principle,GIS-assisted three-dimensional simulation model is introduced to delineate drinking water source protection areas of the five reservoirs in Ningbo taking various factors in consideration, such as natural environment, laws, and so on. Drinking water is the most important water resource, which is closely related to health and quality of life.
