Abstract

Women writers of the first third of the twentieth century developed different strategies in their efforts towards professionalization. One of the most relevant strategies was the establishment of diverse networks of support and affection among different individuals of the cultural field, traceable thanks to their epistolary relationship. This article explores, through the epistolary legacy of poets Carmen Conde (1907-1996) and Maria Cegarra Salcedo (1899-1993), on the one hand, the literary collaboration between them at the beginning of their literary careers and, on the other, their subsequent editorial work in Editorial Alhambra and Editorial Levante, respectively.
