Both descriptive and inferential statistics, such as Mean, Standard Division, ANOVA, Scheffe’s Test, and Point Biserial Correlation Coefficient, were used to analyze and interpret the data. The results indicate that students had career maturity and that their reasons for choosing their specialization influence their career maturity. Abstract

The present study aimed to investigate the career maturity levels among students who were majoring in counseling and mental health in the School of Educational Sciences at the University of Jordan and the influence of reason in their choice of specialization, as well as exploring the relation between academic year level (first year to fourth year) and the students’ career maturity.
