But the difference of the scores in the statement “I can predict the social, ethical, and moral results from the advance of biotechnology” was statistically significant. The preservice science teachers responded that they have recognized SSI, got biological knowledge, and changed the recognition on the relation between biology and society. And 80.3% of them answered that it was needed to deal with SSI in secondary school science class.
