Liste annotée des Goodyerinae Klotzsch (Orchidaceae) de Nouvelle-Calédonie avec la description de deux nouvelles espèces

Abstract

RÉSUMÉ Deux nouvelles espèces dans les genres Goodyera R.Br. et Zeuxine Lindl. sont décrites et illustrées. Les caractères morphologiques qui distinguent Goodyera suprinii M.Pignal, sp. nov., de G. scripta (Rchb.f.) Schltr. sont essentiellement un labelle sans lamelles internes au niveau de l'hypochile (au lieu de lamellé), des fleurs et des fruits formant un angle de 60° avec l'axe floral (au lieu d'être dressés presque parallèles à l'axe) et des fruits verts ovoïdes (au lieu de blancs et ellipsoïdes). Les caractères qui différencient Z. mamiefoglianiae M.Pignal, sp. nov. de Z. samoensis Schltr. sont une inflorescence à indument grisâtre sur l'axe floral et les bractées (au lieu d'un indument vert), des pétales lancéolés recourbés (au lieu de pétales obovés anguleux), des lobes terminaux du labelle plus étroits et entièrement blancs (au lieu de lobes à base orange vif), une gorge blanche (au lieu d'une gorge orange vif), une face abaxiale verdâtre (au lieu d'une face orange vif) et des appendices internes brun pâle (au lieu d'orange vif). En raison des menaces élevées qui pèsent sur les localités de ces taxons, les statuts de conservation UICN proposés sont EN (En danger). Le maintien de G. scripta (Rchb.f.) Schltr. dans le genre Goodyera R.Br. est proposé. Vrydagzynea albostriata Schltr. est mentionnée pour la première fois en Nouvelle-Calédonie. Enfin, les lectotypes de Anoectochilus imitans Schltr., Goodyera triandra Schltr., Rhamphidia discoidea Rchb.f., Zeuxine francii Schltr. et les néotypes de Anoectochilus montanus Schltr., Erythrodes oxyglossa Schltr. et Goodyera grandiflora Schltr. sont désignés. Schltr. are essentially a lip without internal lamellae at the hypochile (instead of lamellate), flowers and fruits forming an angle of 60° with the floral axis (instead of being erect almost parallel to the axis) and green ovoid fruits (instead of white and ellipsoid fruits). The characters that differentiate Z. mamiefoglianiae M.Pignal, sp. nov. from Z. samoensis Schltr. are an inflorescence with a greyish indumentum on the floral axis and bracts (instead of a green indumentum), lanceolate curved petals (instead of obovate angular petals), narrower, all-white terminal lobes of the lip (instead of bright orange-based lobes), a white throat (instead of bright orange throat), a greenish abaxial face (instead of bright orange face) and light brown internal appendages (instead of bright orange). Due to the high threats to the localities of these taxa, the proposed IUCN conservation status is EN (Endangered). The retention of G. scripta (Rchb.f.) Schltr. in the genus Goodyera R.Br. is proposed. Vrydagzynea albostriata Schltr. is mentioned for the first time in New Caledonia. An artificial key and an interactive key to the New Caledonian subtribe Goodyerinae Klotzsch are given (http://goodyerae-nouvelle-caledonie.identificationkey.org/) in English and French. Moreover, the lectotypes of Anoectochilus imitans Schltr., Goodyera triandra Schltr., Rhamphidia discoidea Rchb.f., Zeuxine francii Schltr. and the neotypes of Anoectochilus montanus Schltr., Erythrodes oxyglossa Schltr. et Goodyera grandiflora Schltr. are designated.
