Abstract

In this paper, an optical temperature sensor is to be designed based on the optical Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) for usage in agricultural field. It is one of the aspects of smart agriculture, where the water is optimized owing to the temperature measured. The success of any smart application is decided by the sensing accuracy for feeding various data. The optical sensors are capable of measuring various parameters simultaneously in practical. The characteristics and performance of FBG based optical temperature sensor are studied and analyzed.
