Methods: Ten strains of S. aureus were isolated from the vagina of women in Amir Al-Momenin Hospital of Zabol, Iran. The resistance pattern was determined by the disk diffusion method. Finally, the effect of the extract on bacteria was determined by the 96-well microplate method. Results: The results of the antibiotic resistance pattern showed that S. aureus samples had the highest resistance to oxacillin antibiotic and were sensitive to other antibiotics, and only one sample was sensitive to vancomycin antibiotic. The lowest inhibitory concentration of artichoke against S. aureus was 3.1 mg/mL, but five strains were inhibited at a concentration of 6.25 mg/mL. Conclusions: Ethanolic extract had a significant inhibitory effect on the growth of S. aureus pathogens. 目的:研究洋蓟对金黄色葡萄球菌病原菌的抑菌和致死作用,并与其他抗生素进行比较。方法:从伊朗Zabol Amir Al-Momenin医院妇女阴道分离10株金黄色葡萄球菌。采用圆盘扩散法测定了电阻分布。最后,采用96孔微孔板法测定提取液对细菌的影响。结果:耐药格局分析结果显示,金黄色葡萄球菌样品对奥西林类抗生素耐药最高,对其他抗生素均敏感,仅有1份样品对万古霉素类抗生素敏感。洋蓟对金黄色葡萄球菌的最低抑制浓度为3.1 mg/mL,但有5株菌株在浓度为6.25 mg/mL时被抑制。结论:乙醇提取物对金黄色葡萄球菌病原菌的生长有明显的抑制作用。这些提取物的临床应用还需要进一步的临床研究。
