Rapeseed-mustard, its oil and its oil meal may contain anti-nutritiional factor such as goiterogens (thioglucosided or glucosinolates), tannic acid, erucic acid, sinapine (cholinester), pectins and oligosaccharides. Mustard stimulates digestion and salivary secretion.
