Abstract
ABSTRACT We examined and treated two infants with Jeune syndrome. Their respiratory status had progressively deteriorated despite mechanical ventilation. Expansion of the thoracic cage by splitting the sternum and fixation with an artificial prosthesis was performed. A pneumotachograph was quite useful in determining the width of the prosthesis.
