Abstract

Degradation of natural environment has a negative impact on the quality of life. In order to eliminate the factors that lead to excessive pollution, it is necessary to find alternative solutions - sustainable and environmentally friendly in all industrial fields, including electric energy generation and consumption. Consequently, renewable energy sources together with new generation of loads are a key factor in the development of future energy systems and those DC sources and DC loads that could be integrated in hybrid microgrids. Several configurations of hybrid microgrids are presented in this paper, together with a study case based on a local energy community of Prosumers with PV generation and potential DC loads.
