Abstract

Self and society are closely related or better to say they are sides of a coin. Increase in the level of socialization and social standards adds enhancement and complexity in self. This increase belongs to every segment which is directly or indirectly related with society like, demographic, economic, ecological technical, cultural, political and other remaining ones. Who reside there and interact each other regularly share almost similar ideas, goals and character. The human self is the resultant of individual characteristics and social interaction. Self and society both function as polyphony of consonant and dissonant voice. Also, they share two prominent features which are necessary to understand their dynamics. First, both act in a multidimensional society and individual’s own self, when turns into collective self from the breath of social thought .As some individuals and or groups, in a society have more social power or able to influence people more than others, therefore, the voice of some people is more easily heard rather than others. Moreover, they get more opportunities to express as compared to those whose voice has never been heard or at least entertained. Therefore, there is a need to place all members on a platform so that nobody can be ignored. The purpose of our journal is to put human mind, self and society together which results in various behavior of the individual. We hope that like other issues this issue will also appreciated by the readers.

Mind & Society is a journal for ideas, explorations, investigations and discussions on the interaction between the human mind and the societal environments. Scholars from all fields of inquiry who entertain and examine various aspects of these interactions are warmly invited to submit their work. The journal welcomes case studies, theoretical analysis and modeling, data analysis and reports (quantitative and qualitative) that can offer insight into existing frameworks or offer views and reason for the promise of new directions for the study of interaction between the mind and the society. The potential contributors are particularly encouraged to carefully consider the impact of their work on societal functions in private and public sectors, and to dedicate part of their discussion to an explicit clarification of such, existing or potential, implications.Officially cited as: Mind Soc
