This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, in-depth interviews and the use of documents. Informants were determined by purposive sampling technique. To test the stability and validity of the data collected, a data triangulation technique was used. The results of the study show that collaborative communication is established through dialogue, building trust, commitment and sharing understanding between the school and parents. Collaborative communication is carried out both interpersonally and in groups through various activities, school programs and the use of communication media. Although in the process found inhibiting factors and obstacles in collaborating. But it can be overcome with intense dialogue in order to obtain increased awareness, behavior change and mutually agreed solutions.
