Abstract
Financial technology (FinTech) is an emergent industry that combines two traditional industries: finance and technology. FinTech transforms and innovates the finance industry with up-to-date technology to provide efficiency to the capital market and financial service providers. This teaching case will discuss a Hong Kong Fintech start-up, how it formed, and how it raised the first round of venture capital funding to kick-start the company.
