Abstract
ABSTRACT The first COVID-19 case in Taiwan was confirmed on 21 January 2020. Compared to the global case fatality rate, the people in Taiwan have been affected moderately by this disease, from a medical point of view. However, when looking back to their life experiences over the past six months, one must pay attention to the social dimensions of this pandemic.
