ABSTRACT Four Iranian endemic taxa of Echinops L. (Asteraceae) are lectotypified, namely Echinops ceratophorus Boiss., E. kerneri Heimerl, E. lalesarensis Bornm., and E. lalesarensis var. adenocaulis Bornm.
