The total polyphenol and flavonoids contents in RYME were 538.4 and 196.3 mg/g, respectively. The electron-donating ability of RYME at 100 μg/mL was 92.5%, while its collagenase and elastase inhibitory effects at 8,000 μg/mL were 53.4 and 41.7%, respectively. In comparison, collagenase and elastase inhibition of the positive control vitamin C were 51.0 and 32.7%, respectively.
