Brushless DC motors are determined to be better in terms of efficiency and performance, but costlier. Electric vehicles with permanent magnet synchronous motors are considered to be optimum in terms of efficiency and cost. 〖CO〗_2 emission values of engine types used in vehicles using internal combustion engines electric and hybrid vehicles are compared using basic statistical estimation methods.
