They were Lt=23.2[1-exp{-0.354(t+0.044)}] for female and Lt=25.7[1-exp{-0.408(t-0.063)}] for male, where Lt was mean mantle length (cm) at t months after hatching in August. These growth rates were much larger than those observed in aquaria.
