Abstract
A patient with chronic rheumatic mitral stenosis had Lambl's excrescences at the site where the jet of blood through the stenotic mitral orifice impinged on the interventricular septum. There is dispute whether Lambl's excrescences are neoplastic or related to chronic trauma. The present case adds credence to the latter view.
