Planet climate and energy development and cooperation problems

Abstract

The article analyzes the influence of various factors (including anthropogenic ones) on the planet’s climate and the transition to carbon-free energy, considering the consequences of the introduction of cross-border carbon regulation for the Russian economy. The possibilities of Russia in cooperation with the West on the development of «green energy» were considered. It was emphasized that Russia, as the largest forest power, while improving its environmental management system, must, first of all, eliminate the gross mistakes of the last decades in the implementation of this system.
