Abstract

Abstract Technological progress is reflected in all industries. Obsolete project manuals in the construction industry are being replaced by digitized automated controls that monitor the project in real-time. One of the main trends is the introduction of technologies based on data analytics. Effective use of technology to collect and analyse data is key to improving a building's planning and management across its life cycle. Building information models, which process digital content related to the entire life cycle of a building, are becoming an effective tool.
