Abstract

In this paper is presented state of the art in field of adaptive Proportional-Integral-Derivative controller and a back propagation artificial neural network. There is need for adaptive PID controller in systems with the dynamic processes. Proposed adaptive tuning method contains an artificial neural network and a control logic. This paper is dedicated to design of artificial neural network, which is used in adaptive PID controller. The artificial neural network allows dynamic changes of the parameters for the PID controller.
