Abstract

An artist, as a part of society which s/he lives cannot ignore the event around him/her and uses his/her observations, thoughts sometimes as a reaction and sometimes to enlighten the community and to reveal circumstances. The artists with the view of social-realism, which has been arisen in 19 th and 20 th centuries in the world, aim to reveal realistically society’s sorrow, poverty, grief , shortly, all facts related to the society. In accordance with this purpose, man and woman figures have became a tool frequently used by social-realists. Woman, as a social being, has struggled on existing in the society which she lives, making herself accepted, appearing all fields of business life, standing for her rights and also, has tried to put the figure of working female near working male figure.
