Abstract

We have made microwave spectroscopy to precisely measure the two-photon transition frequencies between the 5snf ${}^{1}\mathrm{F}_{3}$ and the $5\mathrm{s}(n+3)p\ {}^{1}\mathrm{P}_{1}$ Rydberg states of strontium (Sr) atom in the region of $40\leq n\leq 49$. Revised values of quantum defects of the Sr 5snf ${}^{1} \mathrm{F}_{3}$ series have been preliminary determined.
