Abstract

With the emphasis on reducing carbon footprint and promoting the utilization of non renewable resources of energy in production of electricity, the micro grids have emerged as popular arrangement. Micro grids have empowered the users with flexibility in generating & controling electricity as per their requirements and have reduced their dependence on utility grid. Also they can now transfer surplus electrical energy to utility grid and can earn monetary gains.
