Abstract
Abstract The Romanian fauna of mantispids (Neuroptera: Mantispidae) is represented by two species, at least. Data on the distribution of both species is relatively scarce. Mantispa styriaca (Poda, 1761) is considered an expansive holomediterranean element. Herein, we report a new record of the species after a half of century. Insights regarding the species ecology are given.
