Abstract
An HP-85 microcomputer was used to control a Gould Biomation model 6500 transient waveform recorder using a high level interpretive programming language. A modular control program was developed, which is easily modified for alternative applications. This system was used to record and analyze fast transient waveforms in laser discharge tubes.
