Abstract
Based on the one-dimensional three-layer physical and mathematical model of ignition of a coniferous tree (pine), the influence of the m-components of the cloud-to-ground lightning discharge and the appropriateness of their consideration in technical systems for monitoring the forest fire danger are evaluated.
