Abstract
The main aim of this article is to highlight the political and theoretical nature of Jacques Derrida’s deconstructive philosophy, dissociating it from a simple identification with criticism derived from Ferry and Renaut’s book, which by no means do justice to a much sustained attempt through time to promote change, reflection and innovation in the most diverse political and social fronts.
