However, the speed control of the car mainly depends on the driver's judgment and perception, which will increase the safety hazards during the race. The existing driving assistance system seldom involves all-terrain racing. Based on the actual situation of electric Baja racing in Wuhan University of Technology, this paper designed and developed a driving assistance system. Data acquisition and processing were realized by various sensors, single chip microcomputer and chip, broadcasted in the form of voice. The accuracy of the system was proved by theory and experiment.
