Abstract

Polymyxin B, a cationic cyclic decapeptide antibiotic, is well known to bind endotoxin and to neutralize its toxicity. Based on this principle, polymyxin B was immobilized on the chloroacetamidomethylated polystyrene fiber that is reinforced by polypropylene.
