Abstract
The feedback from international practice has shown that the installation of photovoltaic (PV) parks on abandoned dumps is one of the best environmental and economical solutions. This paper discusses the site selection criteria for the installation of PV systems on dumps. When installing the PV systems, different environmental, technical, and economic criteria should be respected.
