Message from E6 workshop chairs

Abstract

Welcome to the Fourth E6 (Energy in Communication, Information, and Cyber Physical Systems) Workshop. Due to rising energy costs and environmental concerns, energy has become one of the most important concerns for communities, governments and industries. E6 takes on all aspects of energy from generation to distribution to consumption. It is becoming increasingly clear that information technology and communications must be intimately sewed into the energy fabric to deliver the promises of higher reliability, security and efficiency.
