Abstract

This study aims to find new frequencies in creating works of art, especially musical compositions using anagrams with the way permutations work. This way is to explore in such a way as to discover new sounds and new frequencies of existing western tonal music. Anagrams are one way to dismantle the tonal of western music to find new frequencies in musical composition techniques. The results of this study from 12 tones (A, Bb, B, C, C#, D, Eb, E, F, G, Ab) of western music with anagrams through permutation processing techniques obtained 60 frequencies using not 12 western tonal tones, then 48 new frequencies were obtained through this anagram. From these results, a frequency of 38 Hz – 986 Hz was obtained. The conclusion from the use of anagram techniques turned out to be able to produce new frequencies in the musical region.
