Abstract
Beekeeping does not just play a crucial role in the North Macedonian economy, but it is also a country rich in forest area. The country has more than three times the forest area when compared to the UK and also is above the forest coverage percentage when compared to the average coverage of low, middle and high income countries (World Bank/FAO, 2021). This makes it a country well suited for honey production on a large scale.
