A Proposal to Rehabilitate Ouda Pasha Archaeological Agency in Historic Cairo Based on the Building’s Data and the Needs of its Surrounding Urban

Therefore, the study aims to assess the current situation of the Agency and propose a specific and detailed study for its rehabilitation, presen-tation and raising awareness of it. The research findings indicate that the current situation of the Agency, the danger that it is exposed to, and the need for urgent intervenes with the necessary conservation work. Also, reusing the Agency in an appropriate function will help to maintain it and integrate it within its urban, especially since the proposed use as a commercial craft center and a hotel with a special character will suit the capabilities of the building and will fit the needs of the urban.
