Abstract
The development of microscopy has allowed mankind to explore what is hidden to the naked eye and has revolutionized the way scientific and medical research is carried out. In the field of medicine, microscopy has become an indispensable tool for the timely diagnosis of diseases, as well as to demonstrate processes at the cellular and subcellular level using new drugs, among many other applications.
