Abstract
Paradiscogaster leichhardti sp. nov. (Digenea: Faustulidae) is described from the intestine of Chaetodontoplus meredithi (Perciformes: Pomacanthidae) from the southern Great Barrier Reef. The new species is distinguished by its elongate, spindle-shaped body and vitellarium which forms separate groups at the level of the anterior and posterior ends of the cirrus-sac.
