Abstract

The dynamic response of the gun during the firing cycle and the relative motion of the projectile with respect to the barrel has a significant effect on the accuracy and consistency of the gun as well as the shot launch conditions. Computer modelling techniques can be used to simulate motion of the gun during the firing cycle.
