Islamic education should not lag behind in filling the space found in the advancement of technology, especially in providing human capital capable of handling technology with Islamic principles and values. This paper will discuss the impact of IR 4.0 in the development of the primary school Islamic Education curriculum or known as the Primary School Standard Curriculum (KSSR). Besides that, this writing also touches on the issues and challenges faced in implementing this curriculum. Abstract

World technology is always developing rapidly. Countries that fail to keep up with the tide of change will be considered lagging not only from the point of view of technology, economy, even in the field of education. Along with the Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0) that the world is currently experiencing, it has changed the landscape of the education world. Islamic education should not lag behind in filling the space found in the advancement of technology, especially in providing human capital capable of handling technology with Islamic principles and values.
