Abstract

Ad-hoc wireless networks are Infrastructure less networks with more number of nodes; it undergoes topological changes due to lack of central coordination. The nodes in this network must act as routers in order to forward some other node's data traffic as well as hosts. The routing protocol is needed in order to forward the data packets from one node to another node. Routing is difficult for ad-hoc networks due to dynamic topology. The major requirements of any routing protocols are quick route setup, path breaks must be handled, provisioning of QoS on selected route. In this paper we are concentrating on power and delay aware multi path routing protocol and compare it with the other routing protocols SPR, MAODV in terms of energy consumption, throughput, delay, and packet delivery ratio.

Ad-Hoc
