Abstract

The article is devoted to detection and analysis of wavelet filter features for nonstationary signals with time-varying characteristics. The actual problem of complex wavelet estimation is described. The wavelet coefficients responsiveness to the signal frequencies is shown. This technique allows determining the signal frequency passbands using the optimal fitting wavelet basis. The software implementing this method is presented.
