Abstract

Rigid plastic is useful but difficult to recycle. However, according to Wageningen University that all changes with the discovery of so-called vitrimers. Researchers of the Biomolecular Sciences cluster of the university have reportedly laid the foundation for this new type of sustainable plastic, which is hard when possible and soft when needed.
