Abstract

This paper proposed a fast multi exposure images fusion algorithm based on the camera response function for high dynamic range scene imaging, which greatly improve the efficiency and ensure the good quality of the fused image. The algorithm calibrated the camera response function in advance, and then calculated the mapping curve between the scene illuminance and pixel value according to the exposure time. When fuse multi-exposure images, the mapping curves of the images are connected to obtain a new mapping curve which can curve the whole luminance range.
