A Case of Mini Osteoplastic Flap Surgery for Recurred Inverted Papilloma Originating From Frontal Sinus

Abstract

Inverted papilloma is a disease in which complete removal of the tumor is essential due to the possibility of malignant transformation. The frontal sinus is not always easy to access endo-scopically because of its location and structural complexity. Therefore, an external approach is sometimes required for tumor control. The conventional method has been radical surgery with osteoplastic flap (OPF) using bi-coronal incision although postoperative complications need to be considered.
