Abstract
The article provides an overview of the evidence that enables us to associate Kedipiv with Keava hill fort; Kedipiv is described in East Slavonic (Kievan Rus’) chronicles under the year 1054 as a fort taken during the campaign of Izjaslav, Grand Prince of Kiev.
