This paper proposes a colorizing scheme for image sequences based on motion estimation and color revising. First the motion vector is refined by a block based neighborhood relaxation. Then the color transfer is established between image sequences. To remove the incorrect colors may occurred during the color transfer, a color revising method is put forward, which consists of image segmentation, region merging, error detection and correction. Abstract
Colorization is a computer-assisted technique of adding colors to monochrome images, movies or TV programs.
