Abstract

In this work, we propose to use the terahertz waveguide to transport the THz signal, which allows simplifying the system set up and reducing the alignment work. In addition, the reflection-mode measurements system can be easily constructed using a double-photoconductive antenna probe. In this article, we have tested some THz waveguides with this system in order to study their propagation behaviours. Besides, we have applied it for THz imaging application. This system has more potential in diverse domain, such as non-destructive test for the semiconductor industry. We expect to further improve the system performance by taking advantage of development of THz waveguides.
