Abstract
The radical copolymerization of methyl methacrylate and styrene with diphosphonbutadienes has been studied. The basic rules for the copolymerization process have been established and the relative activities of the copolymers investigated have been determined, as well as the specific activity Q and the polarity factor e of the diphosphonbutadienes. The chain transfer constants for the polymerization of methyl methacrylate in the presence of monomers containing phosphorus have been found. Certain properties of the copolymers containing phosphorus have been studied.
